Cullom Eye & Laser Center works with referring optometrists to successfully co-manage surgical procedures such as cataract surgery. Your optometrist can complete your initial eye exam to determine if you are a candidate for cataract surgery. A referral is then made to Dr. Cullom for a preoperative assessment, surgical measurements and surgery. Following surgery, Dr. Cullom will work with your optometrist to provide you with the best postoperative care and if necessary a glasses prescription. This close working relationship provides you with the best possible eye care while allowing your primary eye care provider to oversee your care. Please call us at (757) 345-3001 with any questions or concerns regarding referrals and co-management.
