WaveFront Guided Customized IntraLase
The world’s safest LASIK procedure combines the precision and safety of blade-free IntraLase with the WaveFront Guided treatment for improved visual results. 3-Dimensional WaveFront Mapping technology measures, maps and allows Dr. Cullom to treat visual distortions that may have previously gone undetected. More that 95% of patients achieve 20/20 vision or better with WaveFront Customized IntraLase and experience better vision at night and a virtual elimination of halos, glare and light contrast disturbances.
Crystalens
Crystalens is the first and only intraocular lens (IOL) replacement for cataracts that focuses like the eye’s natural lens. Unlike standard IOLs, the Crystalens can restore full functional vision and in most cases eliminate the need for glasses and contacts, allowing patients to see well and look their best. For the first time, cataract patients will have the opportunity to potentially experience the freedom of seeing well at all distances.
ReZoom™
ReZoom™ intraocular lens is a second-generation refractive multifocal IOL that provides hyperopic cataract patients with greater independence from glasses than monofocal IOLs. The ReZoom™ proprietary multifocal design provides a range of vision that monfocals cannot match. The ReZoom™ IOL is indicated for the visual correction of aphakia in persons 60 years of age or older in whom a cataractous lens has been removed and who may benefit from useful near vision without reading add and increased spectacle independence across a range of distances. It is intended to be placed in the capsular bag.
Cataract Surgery
Cataract surgery replaces the natural lens which has become cloudy with a clear, artificial lens. Dr. Cullom uses the no-stitch, no-needle technique that speeds recovery. With an onsite Ambulatory Surgery Center (outpatient surgery), you have no hospital parking decks or confusing hallways to navigate.
Conductive Keratoplasy (CK)
Conductive Keratoplasty uses radiofrequency energy to shrink collagen tissue within the cornea to treat low to moderate farsightedness and presbyopia. Using a controlled release of radiofrequency energy into the stroma (the third layer of cornea), the temperature of the corneal tissue is increased, which makes the cornea steeper and increases its focusing power.
Adult Eye Care
Regular checkups ensure that you’re seeing your best. Cullom Eye & Laser Center recommends that you have your eyes checked every one to two years, even if you’re not experiencing any problems. We check for a variety of eye problems, especially glaucoma, which is a disease of the optic nerve. If you need glasses or contacts, our staff can help ensure a proper fit.
Optical Shop
An onsite shop with expert assistance, our Optical Shop offers high quality products and the best in cusomer service. Led by a licensed optician, our highly-trained staff helps you to select frames that fit your lifestyle and flatters your facial shape. Our designer frame lines include Maui Jim, Definity and Crizal.
