PROPER USE AND CARE OF GLASSES
FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES
TO PROLONG THE LIFE OF YOUR GLASSES:
1. Use two hands when you put your glasses on and when you remove them. This keeps from getting the frame out of alignment.
2. To avoid scratching, clean your lenses and frames daily with warm soapy water or an approved lens cleaner and wipe clean with a soft COTTON cloth. (Don’t use Windex or other lens cleaners with Ammonia, they can damage the frame and lenses!!) Never wipe your lenses when they are completely dry, or use any paper products to dry your lenses, the wood fibers can scratch your lenses!
3. Do not let anyone try on your glasses. They are fitted and adjusted just for you. Letting others try them on could cause the frame to stretch or fit improperly.
4. Never lay your lenses directly on any hard, or abrasive surface that could cause scratches.
5. Keep your glasses in a case when you are not wearing them for a long period of time.
6. NEVER use Super Glue on your glasses!!!! This cannot be removed, and will usually void the warranty on your lens and frame.
7. Stop in our office every few months to let us make sure that your glasses maintain the proper adjustment. The screws for your frame can loosen over time, put a small amount of clear nail polish on the top and bottom of each screw and this will help.
