Michael Bunting, Assistant Manager, Licensed Optician, American Board of Opticianry Certified (ABOC)

Mike joined Cullom & Laser Center in August of 2005. Mike started his optical career in 2000 working in the surfacing laboratory for Hampton Roads Eye Associates (HREA). Since that time, he trained for all sections of a finishing and surfacing optical laboratory. In March of 2003 he transfered to the finishing laboratory at HREA Denbigh, and cross trained as a Dispensing Optician. Since the consolidation of our Denbigh and Main Street shops into Oyster Point, he worked as both a laboratory and a dispensing optician.

Mr. Bunting has lived in Poquoson all of his life. He graduated from Poquoson HS in 1998.  In August of 2002 he began his Apprentice program for Opticianry. He finished the Dispensing Opticianry Apprenticeship in June of 2005 and sat for the Virginia State Board.  He received his ABOC and his Virginia Optician’s license in June 2005.  

Hien Le, Licensed Optician

Hien has been in the optical field for five years.  In 2005, Hien graduated from J. Sargeant Reynold College in Opticianry.  He had been working for a well known corporate optical company for four years and joined HREA in February 07.  Mr. Le has lived in Williamsburg since 1987 and graduated from Lafayette High School.
